Why hold a corporate or charity event?
Corporate events are a great way to bring together clients and members of your
organization for a relaxing, fun-filled day. Charity golf and sporting tournaments
provide the same benefit, all while raising funds and awareness for a worthy
cause.
How much time do I need to prepare for an event?
To produce a successful, high-quality event, we suggest you prepare at
least:
- 12-14 months for golf tournaments
- 8-10 months for lunch or dinner galas and educational seminars
- 6-8 months for poker events and corporate receptions or business mixers
How do I begin the process?
Simply, contact us.
We'll meet with you to assess your event needs. Then, we'll provide you with
feedback on how we can best customize your event, based on your budget, demographics
and clientele.
What is your event process?
After meeting to assess your needs, we provide
you with feedback on event ideas. Once you decide what type of event you'd
like to host, we begin working on an event plan. We've developed a proven process
that takes the worry out of planning. The process includes a range
of services to ensure your event success.
What is my organization responsible for during your event planning
process?
There a few items we consider Client Responsibility.
During our initial
meeting, we ask our clients to provide the following information:
- If you've hosted this event before, a history of the event
- Financial projections for the event, including your desired gross and net numbers
- Your participation in developing an event budget and an overall event look
In addition, our clients are responsible for:
- Providing signature approval on all documents related to the event plan, acquisition of materials and contracts
- Taking complete responsibility for fundraising
- Managing corporate and sponsorship outreach efforts
- Organizing their support team, if applicable
- Planning and setting up support team meetings
What do you mean by "support team"? How is this team different
from yours?
Your support team is a group of people -- other than us -- that will work on
your event. For example, a golf or event committee assists you with your efforts
to fundraise and procure donations and gifts. Meanwhile, our team is your on-site
event-day staff responsible for logistics.
How long have you been working on these kinds of events?
Hart Golf & Event President Rob Hart began his event experience seven years
ago managing charity golf and corporate events. When he founded this company
in 2003, he already had grown his passion of building relationships and helping
charities. Since then, Hart Golf & Events has expanded to produce poker
events, lunch and dinner galas and educational seminars, among others.
Can you name some events you've worked on?
The events include the Capitol Children’s Foundation Golf Classic, the Minority
Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Annual Golf Classic and the BMW Celebrity
Golf Classic, to name a few.
Can you name some of your past clients?
Our past clients include Mission of Mercy, the Minority Corporate
Counsel Association, BMW and the Capitol Children's Foundation.
I represent a non-profit. Is hosting a charity event a feasible alternative
for me?
Hosting a charity event is more feasible than you may think. We're here to help
you determine what works for your organization. Contact
us today, and we'll set
up an initial meeting with you to assess your event needs, based on your budget,
demographics and clientele.
